Doniphan West Band members, Layla Kuhnert, Judd Prawl and Jake Stroud participated in the Washburn Honor Band at Washburn University in Topeka, KS on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
They day was spent rehearsing music with students from other Kansas High Schools, enjoying a faculty recital and ended with a public performance by the students.
Bands were under the direction of Washburn’s, Interim Director of Bands, Dr. Anya Pogorelova and guest conductor, Dr. Chris David Westover-Muñoz.
