Meet Miss Dalinghaus!

Doniphan West is one of 93 high schools in Kansas that require a standalone personal finance course prior to graduation. In other words: the Gold Standard in financial education!
"Leading financial education nonprofit Next Gen Personal Finance has recognized Doniphan West High School as one of 93 NGPF Gold Standard Schools in Kansas because we require a standalone personal finance course! With 23 states - and quickly growing - now requiring this course for all high school students, NGPF celebrates the high schools, like Doniphan West, that are ahead of this exciting trend. Congratulations to Doniphan West High School for teaching real-life skills like budgeting, credit management, career preparation, and beyond!"
As a Personal Finance teacher, the most rewarding part of my day is when I see students, who are seniors, actually get "it." Seeing that AHA moment on their face is proof that they are learning the skills they need to be successful adults. ~ Jodi Leatherman
