Musician of the Month

For the month of November, our Mustang Musician of the Month awards have been expanded out to include our Choir and Elementary General Music Programs. This month’s recipients are as follows.

Braylee Wolvington (PreK-2nd General Music)

Braylee is a very creative student who always strives to do her very best. While rehearsing for our concert, she is always participating, singing her heart out with a smile on her face. Braylee does a great job at paying attention to her classmates, and is a quiet helper. Braylee is a great leader in our Music Program and at Doniphan West Elementary.

Kamryn Heinrich (3rd-6th Grade General Music)

Kamryn is a student who always strives to do her best. She is very focused and is a great problem solver who has the stamina that helps her push through to the end of a problem. Kamryn is a very kind student who is a helper to everyone and is a great leader in the Music Program and at Doniphan West Elementary.

Jozee Clary (6th Grade Band)

Jozee is a great listener and always pays attention. She always does her best, stays on task and is willing to help anyone. A student decided to join band this year and did not know anything about playing their instrument. Jozee took time to teach and get them caught up while remaining caught up on everything she needs to have done. Jozee is a great leader in our Music Program and at Doniphan West Elementary.

Champ Buster (Junior High Band)

Champ is always trying to do the best and be the best he can be. He is always happy, laughing and positive and never fails to make people smile. Champ is nice to everyone and always has a good joke or an interesting fact to say about the topics we discuss. When you feel down, he can always make your day. Champ also plays a mean cowbell.

Paige Smith (High School Choir)

Paige shows up to class everyday,  always willing to work hard on improving her parts. She is a nice person that does a great job keeping on track and does well at taking the notes she needs to continue her daily improvements. Paige doesn’t give herself the credit she deserves and is so much better than she thinks.

Kya Keller (High School Band)

Kya is always paying attention, improving and working hard to nail her part down. With a can-do attitude, she continually tries her best to play all of her parts correctly. She adds much volume to the clarinet section and is always helping when other people have questions or need guidance on their instrument.

Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!
