Three DWHS track athletes have earned a trip to the state meet, qualifying at the Mankato regional meet on Friday, May 19.
Senior Claire Cole will be competing in all four of her events. She placed 2nd in the 300m hurdles (47.82), 2nd in the 100m hurdles (16.0), 3rd in the triple jump (35'5"), and 4th in the high jump (5'2").
Junior Allie Horner will be competing in the 100m. She placed 4th with a time of 13.10.
Sophomore Kelby Windmeyer will be competing in two events. He placed 1st in the 400m (53.07) and 2nd in the 100m (11.11).
Sophomore H'Leigha Idol earned 5th place in the shot put (33'6") at regionals, but only the top four qualify for state.
The state meet will be at Wichita on May 26 and 27.
