What an exciting week in Anaheim, California, with a successful ending!
Faith Collins, senior and second-year national contender, earned a 2nd place plaque in Advanced Interview Skills. Lena Leatherman, junior, ranked 6th in the Advanced Interview Skills competition also.
Over 6500 students from across the United States traveled to Anaheim this week to compete in business simulations and certification exams.
Mrs. Leatherman, BPA sponsor commented, “I’m ecstatic for all five of my kids who competed, it’s very overwhelming to be in the testing rooms and under the pressure that they are. I would never have imagined watching two of the five stand on the grand stage in the same contest! I am so proud!”
While in Anaheim the group also visited Downtown Disney, Disneyland, California Adventure, Huntington Beach, mastered their teamwork skills to find their way through an escape room, and a lot of exploring!
Congratulations to all the national contenders, Faith Collins, Lena Leatherman, Taygen Reno, Kaylynn Miner & Kody Goff.
