Doniphan West seniors have taken a big step towards graduation by completing their Senior Project presentations, a DWHS graduation requirement.

On Friday, April 26, 16 seniors presented to evaluation panels of three judges, with the expectation of speaking for 20 minutes about their topic and the knowledge and skills gained. For this graduation requirement, the seniors spend the school year learning about a chosen topic and then demonstrating that knowledge. 

This year’s seniors and their topics are as follows: Paige Smith, Obstetric Nursing; Sara Moore, Early Childhood Education; Anson Whetstine, Agronomy: Corn Production; Jade Lewis, IT Support; Dylan Albers, Agronomy to Improve Corn Production; Allie Horner, Development and Milestones of Children From Birth to 6 Months; Makenna Smith, Film and Video Media; Madie Helmstetter, NICU Nurse; Cameron Yuill, Wrestling Coaching; Ali Foster, Meat Locker Processing and Sales; Ava Gladhart, Physical Therapist Assistant; Lena Leatherman, Social Media Coordinator; Taygen Reno, Cake Decorating; Hannah Albers, Outdoor Portrait Photography; Kaylynn Miner, Oncology Nursing; Malaina Whetstine, Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
